In the most basic sense a diet that is High in fiber and low in sugar is suitable for Diabetics a high fiber diet decreases the GI (Glycemic index) of the food thus reducing the speed that sugar enters the blood stream. I have studied carefully on this subject before made this selection of recipes, however since I’m not a Doctor, I would recommend that before you cook any of these recipes if your in any doubt as to if these dishes are safe for you to eat then I would recommend that you check with your doctor to be on the safe side.
