Type of Dish Bread
Ingredients
- 1.25 kg plain flour
- 75 g seeded malted bread flour
- 75 g seeded wholemeal bread flour
- 25 g dry yeast
- 750 ml water
Preparation
- Add yeast to cold water, add the flour and salt. Mix for 8 to 10 minutes in a bread mixer at medium speed with a dough hook. Kneed the dough on a work surface for 3 to 4 minutes. Place in a bowl cover with a damp cloth and leave to rise until doubled in size ( about 30 to 40 minutes). Punch the dough back, form a loaf shape. Place on baking tays and leave to rise for 20 to 30 minutes. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 220° to 230°C (425°F to 450°F)
